SPECIAL ALL-ACOUSTIC INCIDENT.
* Billy Solo.
# Kang and Travis only. Introduced as "a Brazilian Choro", with Kang noting that "if you were in the streets of Rio you would probably hear mandolins playing this type of stuff". "Choro" is a style of Brazilian folk music, the name of which is meant to suggest the impression of melancholy in certain guitar modulations.
$ Kang, Travis, and Kyle only.
@ Travis gets the crowd to "make as much goddamn noise as we can!"
$$ with Travis on mandolin.

Couldn't be Happier
I finally found this show! I was a student here at the College of Wooster when they played and was a skeptic at first of what an acoustic show by SCI would be like. I was blown away! The recording of this show brought me back. The sound quality of this show is one of the best on this site and captures the show well. It is even more impressive due to the fact that this venue is know for having horrible acoustic qualities.

Thanks For Putting this Up
I had the chance to go to this show during my freshman year at The College of Wooster and the show was absolutely amazing. I'm so glad that I was able to find this show so that I could listen to this amazing show again.

An all-acoustic incident is a rare and beautiful thing, and this is surely the great example to date. It's revealing to hear some of these pieces in this musical setting; Latinissmo, Round the Wheel, Born on the Wrong Planet, Land's End, and San Jose all shine. The long list of relatively underplayed songs like I'll Be Waiting There, Indian Creek, Hell and Goddamn, Trail of Tears, Whiskey Before Breakfast, and Wheel Hoss, is another distinctive feature of this Incident. It's also interesting to hear the smaller groups within the group (Billy solo; Kang and Travis duo; Kang Travis and Kyle trio - what, no Elvis's Wild Ride?!).
A beautifully constructed setlist for the occasion, graceful and explosive playing from the boys, and brilliant sound. **This is beyond essential.**

Rare Cheese all-acoustic show in a chapel. One of my all-time favorite cheese shows. Excellent sound with some terrific jams. Enjoy!
